How do I get a will made?

Typically, you write the will by hand in your own language, and the notario then translates it into Spanish for you to sign. Compared with the US or Canada, the cost is quite low — usually a few hundred dollars, and normally under $500. Most notarios offer a straightforward fill-in-the-blank template, which works well for clients who own just one or two properties and intend to leave them to family.
