The following documents must be given to the agent who represents either the owner or the tenant.

For Renters:

• ID

• Evidence of sufficient financial capacity to cover the rent

• Some landlords will also run a routine background or credit check before agreeing to rent.

For Owners:

• ID

• Proof that you own the property (typically a copy of the deed)

• A Telmex or CFE bill matching the property address.
